Job Description Job Description Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounting Manager to oversee AR operations while supporting AP and broader accounting functions. This role requires hands-on expertise with NetSuite. Candidates without direct NetSuite experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, leadership capability, and preferably experience within an engineering-driven or project-based environment. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee full-cycle Accounts Receivable operations, including billing, collections, and cash application -Manage and support Accounts Payable processes -Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR/AP -Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data -Monitor aging reports and implement effective collection strategies -Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams on project billing and cost tracking -Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards -Develop and improve internal controls and process efficiencies -Prepare financial reports and support audits as needed -Supervise and mentor accounting staff (if applicable) Required Qualifications: -Mandatory: Proven hands-on NetSuite experience (Candidates without NetSuite experience will not be considered.) -5 years of progressive accounting experience -Strong background in Accounts Receivable; working knowledge of Accounts Payable -Experience with month-end close and general ledger reconciliation -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel -Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills -Excellent communication and leadership abilities Preferred Qualifications: -Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, construction, or project-based environment -Understanding of project accounting and percentage-of-completion billing -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field If your background aligns with what the minimum qualifications require, we encourage you to apply. *Please note - we will reach out to you directly if we would like to move forward with next steps.
