- SERVICE AGREEMENT QUOTING: Provide the administrative support
required for the successful preparation and sale of service
contracts for the sales and service organizations: Prepare / audit
service quotations for potential new equipment sales in order to
ensure proper service entitlements, contract term, pricing and
discount levels through the use of Oracle. Prepare / audit service
quotations for systems coming off warranty, renewals and T&M
conversions through the use of Oracle. Maintain a detailed
understanding of the multiple pricing models, discount structures
and entitlement offerings associated with the various marketing and
GPO programs. Help ensure that CMSU? sales and service personnel
understand service contract pricing, applicable service
entitlements and contractual obligations of vendor agreements i.e.
Quantum - Cannon, Vital Images, etc. Maintain a detailed
understanding of Oracle software quoting platforms. Audit quote
preparation, Special Pricing Requests (SPR) and Special Order
- CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION: Provide the administrative support
required for the successful maintenance and invoicing of service
agreements throughout the lifecycle of CMSU? Installed base:
Maintain Oracle database system including the activation and
termination of service agreements. Prepare service addendums and
modify the Oracle database to accommodate mid-term changes as
requested by the field and customers. Review contract revenue
amortization and contract invoicing to ensure that it is allocated
to the proper accounts and cost centers in the G/L. Work with the
zones to ensure the correct calculation / preparation of contract
credits and journal entries due to mid-term changes and A/R issues.
Prepare collateral materials / analyses as requested by the zone /
customers. Monitor and track contracts funded by OA dollars
ensuring the proper transfer of revenue to service. Identify /
facilitate / resolve data integrity issues related to SIDs and
contracts. Verify warranty start / end dates based on turnover
date. Maintain / update Notes Oracle. Prepare collateral materials
used to assess the eligibility of commission payments and plan
- CONTRACT REPORTING: Respond, consolidate and prepare reports as
requested by management in order to: Provide management reports /
tools to track and identify service contract opportunities for
CMSU? existing installed base and current new sales opportunities.
Identify anomalies, trends or other factors that require program or
- SOFTWARE UPGRADES: Assist in the enhancement and testing of
Oracle as it relates to contracts administration.
- TRAINING: Assist in the instruction and training of new
contract team members: Introduce key concepts of contracts
administration, the setting of priorities and time management
skills. Teach use, features and navigation of software used in the
administration of contracts management. Introduce the provisions of
the various GPO, governmental and strategic partnership agreements.
