Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Special
Education teacher to support a substantially separate elementary
classroom serving kindergarten and first-grade students. This
contract position offers an engaging environment to apply
specialized skills in delivering individualized instruction and
fostering academic and social growth in young learners with diverse
learning needs. Location: Boston, MA (Elementary School)
Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing
individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's
unique goals Managing and instructing a substantially separate
classroom for K-1 students Collaborating with related service
providers, parents, and general education staff to support student
success Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting
teaching strategies accordingly Maintaining a safe and nurturing
learning environment that promotes positive behavior and engagement
Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification
Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably within
substantially separate settings Strong knowledge of special
education laws and best practices Excellent communication and
collaboration skills to partner effectively with families and
colleagues Ability to manage a full-time caseload of 37.5 hours per
week Additional information: Contract position with a school
calendar year (CSY) duration Immediate start date preferred This is

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.20 to $47.20.
