Job Description Job Description Job Description Responsible for the installation and maintenance of systems including Voice and Data, Fiber Optics, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Security, Access Control, Wireless Systems, and Nurse Call. Responsibilities Install low-voltage cabling such as voice, data, security, paging, and nurse-call systems, as well as fiber optic cables. Perform cross-connect cable tasks. Conduct fiber splicing and termination. Terminate cable according to color codes. Test for polarity, connectivity, and organize racks and patch panels. Anticipate equipment, procedures, and training for upcoming tasks. Complete an overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size. Install and terminate peripheral devices. Essential Skills Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in low voltage tasks and fiber splicing. Experience with Cat5 and Cat6 cabling. Ability to install, service, and repair cabling systems. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Stoughton, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
