Mechanical Engineering (ME) is the premier organization for
mechanical hardware design, development, production, and research.

capabilities encompass a broad range of technical disciplines which
include engineering, operations, technical services, materials and
processes, analysis and test and documentation. The Mechanical
Engineering Department is seeking a Senior Principal Mechanical
Engineer to provide Site Development and Integration (SD&I)
expertise. The Site Development & Integration section performs
large scale, complex site development and onsite support. Engineers
will perform research, design, support construction and development
of military and commercial facilities. The position is for the
Marlborough, Massachusetts location. This position is an onsite
role. What You Will Do Provide technical leadership to site
construction projects in support of USG and Foreign military
customer product installations. Drive technical requirements for
site construction to programs and contractors across multiple
programs. Provide technical oversight to internal team and
contractors during site construction and integration. Identify and
manage risks and opportunities and associated mitigation and
capture plans as they relate to the site activation. Responsible
for new business proposal’s site development and integration scope,
ensuring proposals have a robust technical baseline and address
risk and opportunities. Support site surveys for facility
infrastructure solutions. Develop facility requirements and design
development documents for defense system equipment in accordance
with system requirements. Work with Architect/Engineering (A/E)
contractors for facility design effort. Review and approve shop
drawings and construction specifications. Collaborate and
coordinate work activities with Raytheon, Government, and
subcontractors. Basic knowledge of DOD codes and standards,
including Unified Facility Codes (UFC’s) for site installations.
Travel is expected to be 20% both domestically and internationally.
Travel could include multiple week duration trips. Qualifications
You Must Have Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited University
and has passed the fundamentals of Engineering Exam (EIT/FE) plus
ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of
experience and/or education. Familiar with the use of drafting
software including Revit and AutoCAD. Familiarity with building
codes for commercial, industrial and military/Department of Defense
(DoD) facilities. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship

clearance. Qualifications We Prefer Experience working with and
developing Facility Requirement Documents. Comfortable working in a
high energy environment with multiple concurrent and quick-turn
deadlines. Willingness to learn and desire to overcome challenges
to achieve individual and team success. Strong written and oral
communication. Strong attention to detail and orientation to
produce high quality work products. Capable of using spreadsheet,
word processing and standard Microsoft software. Ability to work
with and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. RTX

for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
