Job Description:
The Chart Management Technician position is located at the
Record Center and at occasionally at the hospital.
We are seeking candidates who possess a solid understanding of
medical documentation, and has proven attention to detail. You must
enjoy working in a fast paced production environment while
maintaining high quality and specific accuracy goals. Will have
some interaction with team but will be working independently as
well.
Hours are full time 40 hours/week. Day shift 7:30-4p
Summary
The Chart Management Technician (CMT) is responsible for assuring
that all patients records are prepared and scanned into the Horizon
Patient Folder with the highest level of quality possible. The CMT
is also responsible for indexing all documents to the appropriate
patient folder and for ensuring each document is assigned the
appropriate document name.
Education
High school or equivalent (GED).
Experience
One year experience in a health care facility preferred.
