Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Strategic Sourcing to
lead procurement and sourcing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned
with company objectives
Manage strategic relationships with suppliers and oversee contract
negotiations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and
drive supply chain results
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or
a related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 12 years of experience in strategic sourcing or supply
chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Professional certifications such as C.P.M. or CPSM are a plus
Understanding of Lean Six-Sigma principles
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a
team
