VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our growing Overnight ICU care team full time! Credentials desired but not required.

ER / ICU Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:


Anesthesia procedural monitoring

Full Technician Skill Utilization

Collecting patient histories & physical exams

Medication refills, and Pet parent communication

Proficient in medical calculations

Venipuncture / IVC placement

Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)

Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services

Providing compassionate care for all patients


Potential Schedule: Full-time (Four, 10 hour), (Three, 12 Hour)


Compensation: $ 21 - 28 / hour dependent experience, skill set, and licensure status (CVT, VTS, CVPM)
