Job Description:
A company is looking for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine
Technologist.
Key Responsibilities
Explains procedures to patients and families to ensure cooperation
and ease anxiety
Assists physicians in examinations using standard protocols and
demonstrates proper injection techniques for
radiopharmaceuticals
Recognizes clinical problems that may interfere with exams and
takes appropriate action to resolve them
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday with on-call and holiday
rotations
Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program
Registered State Inspector in Virginia within 3 months of hire, if
applicable
Certification as CNMT or ARRT-N within one year of hire; Basic Life
Support (BLS) upon start
Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment as a Nuclear
Medicine Technologist/Student
