Division Chief of General Ob/GynBaystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region's largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. • As the Chief of General Ob/Gyn, you will guide and oversee the operations of a dynamic team of 21 generalist ob/gyn physicians and 12 ambulatory advanced practice clinicians. Collaborating closely with the Chair of Obstetrics-Gynecology, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the institution's mission and delivering exceptional care to a diverse and underserved patient population.
• The division includes sub-specialists in Complex Family Planning and Pediatric/Adolescent gynecology.
• Join a multidisciplinary environment that thrives on teamwork, partnering with a robust midwifery division, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and a newly formed OB hospitalist division to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

    • Engage with the UMass Chan School of Medicine's new regional campus, fostering academic growth and mentoring ob/gyn residents, fellows, and medical students. Our program includes 24 Ob/Gyn residents and offers fellowship opportunities in Urogynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

      • Baystate Health is a not-for-profit organization and may be eligible for the US Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.Qualifications:American Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience post-residency, demonstrating strong and comprehensive clinical skills in both obstetrics and gynecology, with a particular emphasis on gynecology (preferred). Proven experience supervising individuals or teams, such as clerkship or other leadership roles. Prior management experience in a healthcare setting, ideally in an integrated care model with midwifery collaboration.YOU BELONG AT BAYSTATE.
