responsible for the strategic oversight and continuous improvement
of all clinical nursing operations within the organization. This
role focuses on enhancing overall clinical performance by
optimizing workflows, implementing evidence-based practices, and
driving efficiencies in nursing care. The position will analyze
clinical processes to improve patient outcomes while maintaining
regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of excellence in
nursing practice. They will oversee nursing activities to ensure
alignment with organizational goals, promote patient safety, and
deliver high-quality services. Collaborating closely with executive
leadership and clinical teams, the position will uphold the
organization's philosophy and policies, ensuring effective
engagement with all stakeholders. This role is pivotal in

in clinical nursing practice.Job DescriptionMinimum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in solid organ
transplantation, with a focus on heart, liver, and kidney
transplants.
- Massachusetts RN Licensure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.Preferred

- Oversee all clinical nursing operations, ensuring seamless
collaboration and alignment with the organization's goals and
objectives.
- Participate in coverage of the Transplant Administrator On-call
role to provide oversight of organ offer management.
- Develop, recommend, and monitor nursing and clinical education
budgets, including effective variance reporting and corrective
actions to ensure conformity with the budget.
- Maintain appropriate performance data related to nursing
operations and produce meaningful reports to monitor, evaluate, and
improve clinical performance. Provide leadership with appropriate
information to support sound clinical decision-making.
- Ensure the efficient management of on-call organ offer
services, optimizing response times and ensuring effective
communication across all relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to oversee nursing quality
improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements and accreditation standards.
- Identify potential risks to clinical processes, developing
effective mitigation strategies, and ensuring that all nursing
activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical
standards.
- Ensure effective scheduling of nursing staff to optimize
patient care, enhancing nurse-to-patient ratios and promoting a
safe environment in the outpatient setting.
- Foster a culture of excellence and patient-centered care within
nursing teams, promoting high levels of customer satisfaction among
patients and families.
- Provide cross-functional collaboration with leadership from
other departments to drive initiatives that enhance operational
performance for the organization.
- Responsible for the development, communication, implementation,
and supervision of transplant nursing policies and procedures in
conjunction with hospital nursing leadership.
- Ensure effective management of nursing staff, including
recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to
ensure optimal staffing and team performance.
- Collaborate with transplant executive leaders to align clinical
nursing operations with organizational objectives.
- Monitor nursing staff adherence to documentation requirements
in conjunction with licensing and accrediting agencies.
- Maintain collaborative relationships among nursing staff and
support personnel to foster the achievement of goals and a positive
work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and relevant
healthcare guidelines, serving as a collaborative partner with the
Director of Quality and Regulatory.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to enhance
clinical efficiency and improve patient care outcomes.
- Prepare and present operational reports and updates to senior
leadership, offering insights that drive strategic
decision-making.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with physician and surgical dyads
to enhance clinical operations and patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement clinical education programs that enhance
nursing competencies and support continuous professional
development.
- Serve as a representative of clinical operations to external
agencies and stakeholders, promoting the organization's interests
and initiatives.Physical Requirements:
- Normal office setting.
- Frequent contact with patients, medical staff, and department
personnel.
- Frequent sitting, occasional standing & walking, and lifting of
5-10 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity using fine hand manipulation to
operate computer keyboard.
- Requires ability to see computer screens and reports.Skills &
Abilities:
- Broad knowledge of clinical nursing operations with depth in
inpatient and outpatient care.
- Management, leadership, and interpersonal skills adequate for
effective oversight of nursing teams.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies to enhance
nursing operational efficiency.
- Excellent foundation in healthcare systems operations/office
administration, including proficiency in relevant software
applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and
prioritize effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret
clinical data and outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with
the ability to present information effectively to diverse
audiences.

focuses on providing professional and nonprofessional nursing care
services in accordance with physician orders. In addition, this
role focuses on performing the following Nursing Leadership duties:
