Job Description Unit Description: The Neonatal Intensive Care
Unit (NICU) at UVMMC is a 20 bed level III , 9 bed level II
Transition Unit providing care to the most critical infants born
within our Network. NICU orientation is thorough and mentorship is
well supported as work in the NICU emphasizes a collaborative,
collegial team approach. After 2 years, NICU RNs will train to
become part of a Health Net Transfer Team responsible for the
transport of infants throughout all of VT and upstate NY requiring

Requirements: /n /n - Current RN licensure or compact licensure
recognized by the State of Vermont required. /n - The University of
Vermont Health Network is moving toward an all Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) workforce. All external candidates hired into, or
current employees promoted to, a RN position will be required to
obtain their BSN as outlined in the terms of their offer letter. /n
