Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: High Acuity Med Surge/Respiratory Care Duration: Not specified Shift: Day/Night rotation (mostly days, may assist on nights) Hours per Shift: Not specified Experience: 1-2 years minimum Med Surg experience required; critical care experience considered if fluent with Med Surg ratios and acuity License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; NHISS needed prior to start; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Skills checklist matching specialty; current drivers license with matching address; NURSYS report for license verification; dysrhythmia exam to be taken during onboarding with a preferred score of 80% Description: This position is for a high acuity Med Surge floor/Respiratory Care unit. The unit consists of 16 beds. Patient ratios are typically 4-5, and may sometimes reach 6. Travelers may be requested to float to other facilities. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Candidates should be prepared to work in a demanding environment.
