years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital
setting required; 3 months minimum travel experience preferred
License: Active RN license in Vermont or compact state
Certifications: - Active Basic Life Support (BLS) - Active Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Active Trauma Nursing Core
Course (TNCC) - Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Must-Have: - All certifications in hand to be considered - Profile
must include a permanent address - All requested time off must be
documented in the profile Description: We are seeking a Registered
Nurse for the Emergency Room. This position requires block
scheduling to be avoided. The Emergency Department operates 24
hours a day, 365 days a year. Upon arrival, patients will be
promptly screened by an Emergency Department Nurse. The screening
helps determine the severity of the patient's condition and the
appropriate course of treatment. The Emergency Department is fully
staffed around the clock and serves a large number of patient
visits each year. Requests for time off during the course of this
assignment must be noted and verified during submission. No more
than 10 days of requested time off will be accepted. The traveler
must have their own vehicle for this position. All scheduling
requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made
after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer. All pertinent
documentation must be uploaded with the profile. This position does
not tolerate block scheduling. The orientation period is
non-billable. No call, call-back, or charge responsibilities are
associated with this need. All competencies must be documented and
up to date. Candidates who currently reside within 50 miles of the
