Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Shift Details This position is for a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, working three 12-hour shifts each week. The orientation will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, during the day shift. The night shift will commence during the week of March 22, 2026. Job Description The ideal candidate will possess proficient experience from patient check-in to pre/post care and discharge. This role requires a demonstrated clinical competence through the effective application of the nursing process. Responsibilities Assess and identify patient problems and needs. Establish a comprehensive plan of care. Implement appropriate interventions. Evaluate and modify the patient plan of care based on progress. Specializations This position is within an OB Unit capable of managing high-risk pregnancies, which includes, but is not limited to: Preterm Labor High Blood Pressure Diabetes VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section) Prenatal Testing Amniocentesis Childbirth Education Classes Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery/OB experience is required. Experience with fetal monitoring is essential. Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred. Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications must be in hand at the time of application. Location Position is located in New Hampshire. Contract Details This is a contract position with a duration of 91 days. Weekend Work Every other weekend availability is required.
