We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator to support the coordination and management of patient care activities.- Function as a clinical/staff RN, occasionally responsible for a small patient assignment of 1-3 patients.- Perform charge nurse duties, overseeing LPN, RN, and LNA practices, and delegate care as appropriate.- Coordinate employee breaks and create nursing assignments, adjusting based on acuity levels and patient flow.- Assist LPNs, RNs, and LNAs throughout the shift, including patient care, monitoring lab results, and consulting with departments as needed.- Communicate concerns regarding employee performance and address conflicts in real-time.- Ensure timely and accurate charting documentation.- Collaborate with the nursing team and hospital management to coordinate daily unit activities, including discharges, admissions, and transfers.- Serve as house supervisor and main resource on off shifts, ensuring seamless communication on bed availability and other critical updates.- Facilitate patient transfers by communicating with other area hospitals regarding bed availability.Enjoy comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, short-term disability and life insurance, employee wellness initiatives, and educational reimbursements.
