An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Operating Room care to provide critical support across a diverse patient population including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role focuses on delivering high-quality surgical nursing care within a Trauma Level III setting, utilizing Cerner EMR systems to ensure accurate documentation and patient safety. Responsibilities: - Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures - Monitor patient status throughout surgery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols - Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth operative procedures - Maintain detailed and accurate electronic medical records using Cerner - Manage surgical instruments and supplies efficiently - Adhere to Trauma Level III standards to provide optimal patient care Qualifications: - Valid RN license with Operating Room experience - Skilled in perioperative nursing across various age groups, including pediatric to geriatric - Familiarity with Cerner EMR system preferred - Ability to work 40 hours per week with either 8 or 10-hour day shifts - Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment Schedule: - Day shift availability - Option of 8 or 10-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week - Return-to-office requests not to exceed three days This position is a contract role providing an excellent platform to contribute to patient care in a dynamic operating room environment.
