SIGN ON BONUS, UP TO $15,000 Who We Are: 4 West is a 22-bed adult
med surg telemetry unit serving a patient population of stroke,
sepsis, diabetes, wound care, renal failure, continuous ambulatory
peritoneal dialysis, and COPD. About the Job: The Resource Nurse
(RN) supervises the operational flow of their designated unit
during a specific shift. They are responsible for assigning staff
based on competencies, patient acuity, and volume. This role also
involves coordinating patient care activities and staffing to
ensure patient safety and quality care. The Resource RN
collaborates with the Clinical Nurse Manager to maintain adequate
resources and support staff. What You’ll Do: • Coordinate Patient
Care: Assign staff based on competencies, acuity, and volume,
ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through teamwork and
collaboration. • Lead and Mentor: Conduct daily huddles, monitor
care processes, mentor new staff, assess competencies, and foster a
positive work environment. • Quality and Safety Improvement:
Implement evidence-based practices, monitor outcomes, and
participate in quality initiatives to improve patient care and
safety. • Compliance and Standards: Ensure the unit complies with
organizational, professional, and regulatory standards while
promoting a culture of safety. • Utilize Technology: Leverage
technology for communication, documentation, decision-making, and
process improvements to reduce risks and enhance care delivery. Who
You Are / Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited school of
nursing (ASN or BSN); BSN preferred. • Registered Nurse, licensed
in the state of NH. • Specialty certification within four (4) years
of hire preferred. • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive
clinical experience in acute care and/or specialty area required.
Ability to achieve the following competencies: • Within 90 days: ·
