Job Title: RN PACU Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: 5 years License: Active RN License Certifications: AHA ACLS, PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Active RN License - AHA ACLS - PALS - BLS Description: The position is for a PACU RN working 40 hours per week. The shift is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit is a Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The unit serves a variety of surgical specialties including general, thoracic, plastic, vascular, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology. The clinician-to-patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients. Patient population includes pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit has a bed count of 34. Daily census ranges from 30 to 40 patients. The charting system used is EPIC. Floating is not required. Rotating shifts are primarily evening shifts but may occasionally require rotation to day shifts.
