Job Description Pathologist Opportunity in Brockton, MassachusettsLocation: Brockton, MABoston 25m Full-time, hospital-employed position within a well-established pathology departmentSchedule: 40 hours/week Day shift (Monday Friday) Rotating holidays and on-call coverage shared equally among department pathologists Position Overview: Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pathologist to join a collaborative team delivering comprehensive anatomical and clinical pathology services.Duties & Responsibilities: Surgical pathology, including frozen sections and immediate evaluations (radiology and endoscopy) Grossing large specimens and signing out all grossed specimens Peripheral blood smear review Semen morphology analysis Transfusion reaction and crossmatch reviews Crystal identification in joint fluids On-call responsibilities and rotational cancer conference duties, including photography Equal distribution of administrative and procedural responsibilities among department members Practice Highlights: Collegial, team-oriented pathology department Balanced workload across all members Dedicated support staff including pathology assistants Ideal Candidate: MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Strong diagnostic skills across a broad range of pathology disciplines Willingness to participate in all facets of departmental responsibilities
