Job Description Unit Description: Medical ICU (MICU) – Where
Excellence Meets Compassion Step into the heart of critical care at
our 21-bed Medical/Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where every shift
is a chance to make a profound impact. As a MICU RN, you’ll be part
of a high-performing, interdisciplinary team committed to
delivering exceptional care rooted in the latest evidence-based
practices. Complex Care, Advanced Skills In the MICU, you’ll care
for some of the most critically ill patients in the region. Our
diverse and high-acuity population includes individuals
experiencing: - Neurological emergencies: Stroke, Seizures,
Guillain-Barré (GB), TNK, Thrombectomies - Cardiac crises:
Myocardial Infarction (MI), CHF, IABP, Impella, Cardiac Arrest,
ECMO - Pulmonary challenges: COPD, ILD, PNA, COVID ICU - Severe
infections: Sepsis, Septic Emboli - Metabolic and toxicologic
emergencies: DKA, Overdose (OD), Liver Failure, Renal Failure -
Gastrointestinal bleeding: GIB - Advanced therapies: CRRT, CDT -
End-of-life (EOL) care: Compassionate, patient-centered support for

Experience: Greater than one year of ICU experience required.
Candidates with 2 years or more of ICU experience will be
considered first. On-call: Not required. /n Requirements: /n /n -
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State
of Vermont required. /n - ADN required, BSN preferred. /n -
Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
