Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Lebanon, NH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,401 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services as an RRT License: Active RRT Certification through The National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active American Heart Association PALS Must-Have: - Experience with ventilators, ICU, ED, blood gases, floor therapies, nebulizers, and inhalers - Ability to work independently Description: The mission of the Respiratory Care department is to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients and visitors. An RRT offers specialized patient care services to various critical care units and provides consult services to general surgical and medical floor units. The RRT coordinates with physicians, nurses, allied staff, patients, and families in scheduling and providing treatments. Documentation of patient interactions and billing for services rendered is required. The RRT administers medications according to written orders and reports any adverse reactions to medications while ensuring proper patient identification and documentation. Responding to all codes, rapid response teams, emergencies, and patient transports as required is expected. Blood gas tasks must be performed as required, including drawing, analyzing, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance/quality control. Mechanical ventilation management must be performed within specified guidelines, protocols, and physician orders. The RRT ensures that all equipment operates properly and is maintained according to manufacturer's specifications. The RRT will be responsible for drawing arterial blood gases and analyzing ABGs and venous/capillary samples. Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted and submitted prior to the assignment. Requests made after submission may not be approved. Local travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered for this position. This role requires a candidate with their own vehicle for transportation. All scheduling requests must be included at the time of submission. Prompt action is required to avoid potential changes to scheduling after the offer.
