Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Behavioral Health Technician for a local contract job in Somerville, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Behavioral Health Technician - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract 13 weeks // 5x8 Rotating shift Milieu Counselor - *LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - Must be within 50 miles of the facility Must work every other weekend - will float to other units (typically 5E and 5W) may float to other units as needed Will frequently float between 5E and 5W but could be others CPI(orientation); BLS Job Description: Unit: Inpatient Psych 5 West Adolescent Patient age: Typically, 13-17; (licensed 3-17); waivers for older Must be comfortable with ADLs, VS, CPI Shift: 8hrs, Varied (NO block scheduling). Must work every other major holiday. Flu vaccine required during season. Scrub Color: Any Qualifications/Experience: -Prior human services, behavioral or psychiatric experience strongly preferred. Inpatient psychiatric experience is preferred. -All newly hired candidates must successfully complete a job specific physical test. Submission Requirements: Up to date resume that includes 1-2 year(s) of experience in Milieu Counseling. Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first time travelers. High school diploma required; B.A, B.S., or M.A. preferred or equivalent years human service experience. Current AHA BLS required.
