Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team across 42 states, providing expert respiratory care in both facility-based and home-based settings. In this crucial role, you will engage with patients who require acute and chronic respiratory therapy, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and methods to ensure optimal patient outcomes under the guidelines of our integrated healthcare services. Assess and treat patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary issues. Implement and monitor patient care plans effectively and adjust as needed. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment. Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and proper management techniques. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate integrated, patient-centered care. Proficiency in using respiratory care devices and equipment. Strong analytical skills to assess patient conditions and implement appropriate treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
