Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery RN experience and OR circulator experience. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required, along with an Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN. Must-Have: - Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips. - Ability to pass telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher. - Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred. - Ability to circulate and scrub in the operating room. - Charge experience preferred. - Experience as a primary newborn RN during the transition from delivery. Description: The position involves working in a labor and delivery setting. Shifts available are 3 shifts of 12 hours each, totaling 36 hours, with evening hours, every other weekend, and every other holiday. Alternatively, there is an option for 4 shifts of 8 hours each, totaling 32 hours, with evening hours, every other weekend, and every other holiday. The unit has 5 labor rooms, 1 operating and recovery room, 3 triage rooms, and 12 postpartum rooms, with approximately 3000 deliveries per year. Patient ratios will adhere closely to AWHONN guidelines.
