Job Description:

We are offering a recruitment bonus if you meet the requirements of the position in terms of education and experience. This is applicable to external candidates only. In addition, if you are a former employee of CH/CHMG, you must have been separated for a minimum of one year from your termination date to be eligible. If hired you would receive a recruitment bonus of $1,000 at 30 days, $1,000 at 6 months, $1,000 at one year, $1,000 at 18 months, with final installment of $1,000 at two years of employment for a total of $5,000 (less taxes).Cardiac Sonographer Clinical Ladder Program recently instituted allows for advancement within the team.Hours: 4X10 example of shift 6:30-5p or 8-6:30p; call schedule can be discussed. No weekday call.SummaryProduces ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures for use by Physician in diagnosis and study of heart disease.EducationTwo years of formal training or education beyond the high school level, in Cardiac Ultrasonography.Certification, Registration, and LicensureCertification required: Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.Registration required to obtain: American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) registry in accordance with Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) guidelines within 2 years of hire and maintained thereafter.State licensure for Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.ExperienceExperience in Cardiac Ultrasonography is required, will consider clinical days/time as experience, minimum of 6 to 12 monthsResponsibilitiesPerforms transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) exams.Performs stress echocardiogram (STEC) exams.Assists physicians with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) exams.Documents and maintains patient and test data.Manages time and workload fluctuations.Assesses patients and adapts to changing clinical situations.Completes billing for tests performed.Utilizes and maintains departmental and hospital equipment.Completes departmental and hospital requirements.Involves self in departmental, team and committee goals.Takes ownership and responsibility for individual performance goals.Performs other duties as assigned.Concord Hospital is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
