Job Description:

ClearChoiceMD is seeking a dependable Full-Time IT Systems Administrator to support our growing organization. Our ideal candidate is friendly and has excellent communication skills and is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

The Systems Administrator is a key member of the Information Technology team and reports to the Director of IT. The role of the Systems Administrator is to design, install, administer, and optimize company servers. This includes protecting our critical information, systems, and assets; building solutions, implementing new software and hardware, providing training, and assisting in the development of an overall IT strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provides urgent care support at all levels
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes
  • Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that is always up and running
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
  • Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise by; helping, testing and building on the infrastructure including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups

    Key Competencies
    • High attention to detail and action oriented
    • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems
    • Strong Communication skills both written and verbal
    • Ability to work with or without supervision, from the office or from home
    • Windows 10 and Windows servers
    • Office 365/Azure or other PaaS/IaaS technologies
    • VMware/Hyper-V
    • Cisco Meraki/SonicWall
    • Experience with or knowledge of operating systems; equipment performance-monitoring tools, device management, virtualization and network design.
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Professional demeanor and positive attitude

      Education and Experience:
      • Bachelors Degree in Technology, preferred
      • Proven work experience in IT (3-7years)
      • Excellent problem-solving skills
      • Energetic & motivated with a technical mind
      • Conceptual thinker
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Able to work independently
      • Project Management Experience, preferred
      • Application Integration, preferred
      • Microsoft Windows Desktop OS 10/11 experience is a plus
      • EMR system experience is a plus
      • Dell Desktop/Laptop hardware support.
      • Microsoft Office 365 with Office Applications Teams, OneDrive, Office apps.
      • Other Microsoft Office Suite includes 2010 and higher.
      • DialPad experience is a plus
      • Active Directory experience a plus

        Travel: Some travel to our center locations may be required occasionally for this position.

        Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities

        Work Environment: This job operates in an office setting and may involve long periods sitting.

        Physical Demands:

        This position entails a high level of work performed at a computer terminal throughout the day as well as the regular use of a telephone or headset equipment. On a regular basis, incumbent frequently performs repetitive motions at a computer terminal and is subject to prolonged sitting. Occasionally, eye hand coordination is required to operate office equipment. May also require some standing, bending, and lifting on an intermittent basis. As this position performs customer service activities incumbents may periodically experience moderate levels of stress.

        Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

        This is a full-time salary exempt position. A typical work schedule consists of Monday to Friday 8:30-5.
