The Epicor Developer will be responsible for overall customization, maintenance,, upgrade and support of the Epicor ERP system. This position will involve a high degree of collaboration and project management skills. This position reports directly to the Director, IT

• Analyze and understand business needs and processes to align the Epicor ERP system with them.
• Develop and customize the Epicor software to improve its performance and integrate with business systems
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
• Provide technical support and training to users.
• Manage Epicor security and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in Epicor development.
• Develop and maintain system documentation for future reference.
• Collaborates with clients and/or internal teams to understand user needs; drafts initial proposal and design of software to meet these needs.
• Assesses feasibility of design and project parameters within time and cost constraints.
• Analyzes user needs and designs software for client use.
• Develops code and designs software applications based on user specifications and current standards.
• Modifies existing software to correct errors or improve performance.
• Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming.
• Monitors and assists with software installation; ensures application operates within established specifications.
• Gathers and evaluates user feedback and then modifies software for better usability.
• Designs databases for specific application areas.
• Determines required system performance standards and hardware configurations based on client specifications, budget, security needs, and other parameters.
• Collaborates with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems to support required applications.
• Advises clients on software maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain a high level of Cyber Security
  Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Epicor developer or a role in Epicor implementation.
  • Ability to learn new coding languages and technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Epicor MES software.
  • Experience in software development and programming languages such as Java or .NET.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases, and experience with data migration.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Extensive knowledge of coding languages and systems.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite or related software
