Performance Foodservice, a premier leader in the food distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Will Call Order Selector to join our warehouse team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of orders for pickup by customers directly from our warehouse facility. Our Will Call Order Selectors are responsible for managing specific customer orders, ensuring each item is accurately picked, properly packaged, and available for scheduled pickup times. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Accurately pick products from warehouse inventory based on order sheets. Verify and inspect product quality and quantities for precision and compliance. Pack, label, and prepare orders for customer pickup. Operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area. Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory levels and ensure product availability. Coordinate with the customer service and dispatch teams to schedule pick-up times and manage order discrepancies. Proficiency in warehouse management systems and databases. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in order picking.
