Substance Use Disorder Clinician - Merrimack Country Drug
CourtRiverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest
providers of community-based behavioral health services in New
Hampshire, is seeking a Substance Use Disorder Clinician to provide
goal-oriented individual and group treatment to adults
participating in the CHOICES program, through Merrimack County Drug
Court.Merrimack County Drug Court is based on a post adjudication
model after which the individual enters into treatment for 18 - 24
months. The Substance Use Disorder Clinician will be a member of a
multidisciplinary team, providing services to the adult drug
treatment court program utilizing evidenced based practices known
to have a positive outcome for drug court participants. Rather than
long periods of incarceration, successful programming focuses on
proven methods of treatment and supervision. Clinicians in this
program provide therapeutic interventions to include, but not
limited to, motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy, and crisis intervention.Responsibilities
- Provide assessments, individual and group therapy, including
intensive outpatient programming (IOP) to drug court
- Provide psycho educational groups to participants and their

skills, identification of triggers and high-risk relapse
situations, social pressures to use substances, and motivation for

- Attend Drug Court meetings and hearings.
- Maintain timely documentation of services.Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related Human
Services field is required.
- Active NH licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, or Psychologist
- Active NH licensure as LADC or MLADC preferred, or willingness
to pursue licensure is required.
- Minimum of two years' experience in substance abuse treatment
in an outpatient setting including intensive outpatient program
services (IOP) is preferred.
- An understanding of the NH judicial system is preferred.
- A valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance
