---Job Summary:
Required to fabricate residential custom projects from shop drawings involving a variety of
materials and at times installation is required. Fabrication of custom doors, cabinets, mouldings,
wall & ceiling panels, furniture, and windows, etc.------

Responsibilities and Duties:

Drawings/blueprints are evaluated with the shop manager.
Set up and operate power tools and machines to cut and shape wood.
Fit, glue, and clamp components together to form complete units.
Sand or scrape surfaces to smooth and prepare them for finishing.
Install hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.
Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
Estimate sizes, quantities, time, cost, or materials needed to assist Shop Manager and Shop Foreman.
Think creatively.
May travel to job sites to take measurements or install items.
Maintains an orderly shop, changes light bulbs, and maintains tools & equipment to meet
expected standards.
