*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated *Psych - Registered Nurse* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Psychiatry and possess a diverse skill set to provide comprehensive patient care.*Schedule*: - Days (7a-3p /5-8's or Evenings (3-11 /5-8's or Nights (11p-7a/5-8's_*Please note 11-7 nurses work as the only nurse on the unit on third shift without any supervisors hence the candidate must be comfortable for the same. *_*RNs must be qualified to perform duties that include but are not limited to: ** Conducting physical assessments, including psychiatric or admission assessments.* Administering medication(s).* Processing of physician orders.* Monitoring vital signs.* Testing blood glucose levels.* Completing treatments.* Conducting pain assessments.* Changing dressings.* Providing venipuncture services.* Management of the milieu.* Utilizing the electronic health record (EHR) of NHH and Glencliff to obtain clinical information and to document patient care.* Communicating both verbally and in writing to report related findings* In accordance with agency policies, declare a personal safety emergency stemming from any situation where the physical or emotional safety of an individual is at risk and immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or injury (e.g., physical assaults, verbal threats, medical equipment malfunctions, or incidents of patient/resident elopement) as needed*Qualifications** Minimum 2 yrs of psych experience is required.* Orientation will be in the 1st shift for 4 weeks* Valid Registered Nurse (RN) License* Proficient in patient care and assessment* Experience with medication administration and patient monitoring* Skilled in IV insertion and catheterization* Knowledge of EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner* Familiarity with blood sampling and specimen collection* Background in critical care and long-term care settings* Ability to provide health coaching and home/community careRN\_TSCJob Type: ContractPay: Up to $70.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekMedical Specialty:* PsychiatryPhysical Setting:* HospitalExperience:* Psychiatric care: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:* BLS Certification (Required)* RN license for NH or compact license (Required)Shift availability:* Day Shift (Preferred)* Night Shift (Preferred)* Overnight Shift (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Concord, NH 03301 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Concord, NH 03301: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
