Job Description:
Job Description Job Description This position is responsible for
working with a team of content and creative specialists to develop
unique multimedia content strategies and execute production for
publication across online or digital platforms. Duties include
managing various digital platforms as assigned and/or content
development for specific channels, conducting market research to
stay on top of current content trends and target audiences, and
aligning content development to meet marketing and business
objectives. Major Duties and Responsibilities Conceptualize,
produce, and manage content to be used across multiple digital
platforms in various formats, including social media, videos,
websites, email, events, in-branch signage, press releases, blog
posts, paid digital advertising, and other forms of communication
and inbound marketing content. Collaborates with content and
communication experts and internal stakeholders to develop and
maintain comprehensive digital content strategies, inbound content
and campaigns, content calendars, and various forms of
channel/platform content to support both organizational and
marketing objectives. Manage social media channels, including
strategy, content development, channel moderation, and response
management. Coordinate with our communications and customer service
teams as needed. Assist with campaign development and marketing
channel strategies by leading key messaging, content themes or
promotional concepts, segmentation and large audiences, compliance,
and timing and sequence of content/communication tactics. Develop
critical and compelling content that demonstrates the
organization’s positive impact, including member stories and
testimonials, community partnerships, promotional content,
product/service information, digital event production, and other
opportunities for video, audio, and written storytelling. Assists
with and performs other related duties as assigned, including
support for events, projects and programs. campaigns, and other
marketing initiatives Must comply with all company policies and
procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not
limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office
of Foreign Assets Control. Experience Five years to eight years of
similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
High level of proficiency in Internet marketing concepts &
practices, including the ability to conceptualize user
navigation/flow through new online services. Two to four years work
experience digital media; planning, development, search engine
optimization (SEO), paid search (PPC), display media, social media
and shopping or partnership feeds. Must possess knowledge of
analytics and user experience, website management, and direct mail
required. Be knowledgeable in research analysis, Internet
environment, survey methods, regulatory compliance, and current
business and marketing trends. Education/Certifications/Licenses A
college degree. Concentration in marketing, communications,
e-Commerce, business or related major is highly preferred.
Interpersonal Skills A significant level of trust, credibility and
diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and
explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and
outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential
nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing,
educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to
middle managers. Ability to speak and effectively present
information and respond to questions from groups of employees,
customers and managers. Ability to provide constructive feedback to
others. Other Skills Must be at least 18 years of age. Favorable
Background, Credit, Criminal, Bondability, and Reference Checks
required. (Motor Vehicle check dependent on position.) Travel to
other branches or locations as required. Embody EastRise’s Purpose,
Guiding Principles and Cultural Guideposts. Must have a working
knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Quark Express, Adobe
Photoshop and Illustrator. Thorough understanding of Internet
environments and web site development. Exceptional knowledge of the
English language is particularly important. Proficiency with PC and
familiarity with MAC hardware High proficiency with Microsoft
Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proficiency
in use of the online and mobile technologies. Proficiency in direct
marketing. Proficiency in PowerPoint to create presentations and
handouts. Ability to understand market research. Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in
climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental
and/or Emotional Requirements Must be able to perform job functions
independently or with limited supervision and work effectively
either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry
out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must
be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and
understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and
professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse
cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization
and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion
when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform
responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines /
requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and
changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of
discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
Ability to focus on detail and verify accuracy of numbers and text.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals,
professional journals, government regulations, general financial
reports and compliance documents.
