Former Military's are welcome to apply!Here at Wanzl we perform general maintenance and repair on shopping carts and rolling equipment, complete installation projects, and conduct site surveys, for national retail and grocery store chains. Learn how to diagnose and repair equipment, install access gates/shelving, and conduct photographic surveys through our Paid On-the-Job Training Program.Traveling Repair Technician Responsibilities* As a Traveling Repair Tech you are responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers by repairing rolling stock equipment such as shopping carts, pallet jacks, ladders, material handling carts, pressure wash sidewalks and equipment* Pressure wash sidewalks and equipment* You will also Install shelving and other installation projects* Provide our customers with professional and courteous site surveys by collecting data and photos on your Smart Phone and company provided App* Drive to customer sites in your territory to perform work; some overnight stays required.* Maintain proper care of company vehicle, equipment and electronics* High level of skill or working knowledge of electrical(12/24 volt), plumbing, and carpentry repairs.* Likes using hands and tools to repair and troubleshoot* Proficient use of Apps and handheld devices* Time management skills* Field experience strongly preferred* Solid communication/customer service skills* Can do attitude, self-motivated, and ability to work independent* Endurance and the able to work in outdoor weather conditionsTraveling Repair Technician Requirements* NH residence area and surronding areas only* High school graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience* Must have valid vehicle operator's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report for last 5 years (no DUIs or suspensions)* Background check, DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen are required* Must be able to lift 50+ pounds* Proficient use of Apps and handheld devicesTraveling Repair Technician Pay Benefits* W-2 Employment (you will not be a contractor)* Bi-Weekly Pay* Company Vehicle* Drive time plus compensation for on-site work* Major equipment and all parts to perform the job* Meal and cell phone stipends* Company credit cards for travel and fuel expenses* Benefits Package (Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and Birthday Gifts/Service Awards)* An established client base - no sales/solicitation requiredWanzl North America - Service is an equal opportunity employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Employment Type: Full TimeYears Experience: 1 - 3 yearsBonus/Commission: No
