Job Description:

Summary Assist in generating sales of natural gas fuel by supporting marketing and sales teams to promote natural gas vehicle technology to a variety of fleet customers. Research and analyze ways to improve our product offerings, develop strategic proposals, and expand the existing customer base.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assist with the development of proposals and presentations to potential customers and support responding to solicitations including RFP's, IFB's, etc.Research, read, understand and analyze the customer's requirements and objectives including solicitation documents to develop customer-focused presentations and proposals.Draft, write and review proposal documents and presentations with strong attention to details and accuracy.Develop financial analyses to support customer pitches and demonstrate customer valueResearch and analyze financial strategies to be shared internally and incorporate them into proposals.Coordinate meetings with internal and external resources to develop responses to proposals, i.e. meetings with operations, engineering, legal, sales, etc.Research, compile and revise information from department personnel and incorporate into proposals.Assemble final proposals for submittal ensuring timeliness and accuracy.Coordinate the review of draft contracts and agreements by working closely with other departments such as Finance, Operations, Engineering, Legal, etc. Analyze and communicate the outcome of proposals to the sales management team, focusing on factors that led to the win or loss of the sale, customer feedback and objections, and winning solutions. Attend trade shows, pre-proposal conferences, and customer's facilities in order to support sales efforts, as approved by supervisor.Provide input to the management team on new products or services for potential new customers.Research, analyze, and stay current on competitor's proposals, pricing, equipment and strategies; report to management with periodic updates on competitors.Support sales team with overcoming technical and business objections of prospective customers.Analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements and provide strategies for improvement.Research and identify new prospects in various sectors.Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
