Job Description:

Field Service TechnicianAs a member of the Service team, your responsibilities include to perform all the activities required to provide technical support to internal/external customers; set up, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and repair injection molding systems and working with the customers directly to diagnose issues. - -This is a travel position that will focus on - local and regional travel during the week Monday-Friday. - It will also have about 10% traveling through North America. - Some weekend work will be required. - -TECHNICAL/PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Excellent troubleshooting skills -Ability to interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, sales and service functionsAbility to work with new and evolving technologiesStrong electrical background and mechanically inclined.Strong problem resolution skills with a proven ability to think outside of the boxStrong customer service skillsAdditional language other than English would be considered an assetAbility to write a detailed reportFlexible to travel to CanadaQUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 2 year Technical Associates degree/diploma or equivalent military experienceExperience with injection molding including assembly, testing, service and engineering including machines, molds, robots and other product handling equipment would be an assetMechanical ExperienceElectrical ExperienceCustomer ServiceUS Passport - -
