Position Summary

Linde AMT is currently seeking an Operations Technician for Shipping and Receiving with primary duties in shipping. You will report out of the Linde facility located in Concord, NH.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

--- Build crates and package orders for shipment (using tools such as forklift, pallet jack, panel saw, screw & nail gun, etc.

--- Print and pick daily sales orders, pack items for shipment according to applicable domestic & foreign regulations

--- Prepare shipping documents (ie. Bills of lading) and labels using UPS, Fed Ex, LTL, and specialized TL operations

--- Select and schedule trucking companies daily where applicable to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize freight costs

--- Track orders, collect freight quotes and solve freight related issues (ie. freight claims)

--- Provide dimensions and weights for international shipments and coordinate with customer service to arrange freight forwarder pick up

--- Plan resource & material needs and notify management when additional resources are required

--- Ensure all tooling and equipment is maintained properly

--- Ensure all orders are shipped on time and transactions are correct to maintain inventory accuracy

--- Cycle count inventory as assigned

--- Maintain 5S standards in the area and participate/recommend kaizen events

--- Support Receiving and material handling function as required

--- Ability to read, follow, and maintain detailed work instructions and Job Safety Analyses

--- Maintain operational discipline and comply with Linde policies

--- Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

--- High School degree or equivalent required

--- Five year shipping/receiving experience required

--- Strong understanding of shipping procedures

--- Functional knowledge or capable of learning Fed Ex, UPS, LTL and TL operations

--- Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; flexible teamwork

--- Work independently with minimal supervision

--- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, attention to details, reliable, resourceful, results driven and motivated behaviors

--- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines

--- Positive attitude and customer focus

--- Ability to learn Oracle system

--- Must be physically able to lift 40 lbs, stand 8 hours without accommodation

--- Ability to drive a forklift and utilize carpentry tools

--- Perform basic computer skills

--- May be asked to work extended hours based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

--- Oracle, Microsoft word and excel knowledge

--- Experience coordinating foreign and domestic shipments
