Job Description:
Global Partners LP, a leader in the distribution of energy
products and renowned for excellent customer service, is seeking a
dedicated Guest Service Associate/Cashier to join our dynamic team.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standards of service
and customer satisfaction at our busy retail locations throughout
the Northeastern U.S. The successful candidate will handle various
customer service and cashiering duties, ensuring a seamless
shopping experience for all customers. This position is ideal for
individuals passionate about energy sustainability and exceptional
service delivery in a fast-paced environment. Operate cash
registers and handle financial transactions accurately. Assist
customers with queries, and provide knowledgeable answers regarding
products and services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the
checkout and store areas. Implement company policies and procedures
to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Participate in inventory control and inform management of any stock
issues. Support promotional activities and suggest additional
products to customers, enhancing their shopping experience.
Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling. Strong communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time
effectively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of safety and operational regulations in a retail
