Job Description Job Description Summary of duties and
responsibilities Join American Alarm and Communications as a
Business Development Representative, where your work directly
supports customer satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth. This
role blends customer retention with outbound prospecting and
pipeline generation, supporting both existing clients and new
opportunities. You will be exercising independent judgment and
discretion in carrying out responsibilities related to business
development, customer retention strategies, pipeline management,
and revenue growth initiatives You will engage prospects and
customers through high-volume outreach, qualify leads, schedule
meetings for sales leadership, and clearly communicate AACI’s value
proposition. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
coordinates projects and activities for sales and marketing
services Outbound Prospecting: Conduct high-volume outreach to
targeted prospects and existing clients through cold calling, email
campaigns, and social media (LinkedIn) to generate interest and
opportunities. Lead Qualification: Assess prospects using Budget,
Authority, Need, Timeline, and criteria to determine fit and
prioritize sales efforts. Customer Retention: Proactively execute
retention strategies to reduce cancellations, strengthen
relationships, and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities while
ensuring customer satisfaction. Meeting Scheduling: Book
appointments, demos, and discovery calls for sales executives to
advance qualified opportunities. Pipeline Generation & Management:
Research potential accounts, identify key decision-makers, build
targeted prospect lists, and nurture leads through the sales
pipeline. Inbound & Outbound Engagement: Manage inbound inquiries
and proactively follow up with leads through calls, emails, and
digital channels while meeting or exceeding activity and
performance targets. Campaign Management: Develop and execute
targeted inside sales and retention campaigns promoting system
upgrades, discounted services, and enhanced security solutions. CRM
Management: Accurately record all customer and prospect
interactions, activities, and progress in CRM systems such as
Salesforce or HubSpot. Reporting & Metrics: Track activity levels,
pipeline progress, and campaign performance; provide regular
updates to leadership on results tied to quotas and KPIs. Product
Knowledge: Maintain strong knowledge of AACI products and services
to clearly articulate the value proposition and address initial
customer inquiries. Data Analysis & Feedback: Analyze trends,
customer feedback, and account data to identify improvement
opportunities and recommend proactive solutions. Other Duties:
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Typical
Requirements / What You Bring Communication Skills: Exceptional
verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage
high-level stakeholders. Experience: 0–2 years of inside sales,
business development, or customer service experience; requires a
high level of resilience, motivation, and coachability.
Outcome-Oriented: Strong focus on achieving daily and weekly
activity metrics and meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales
and retention quotas. Tools & Technology: Proficiency with CRM
software, sales engagement tools, and LinkedIn. Organization & Time
Management: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail,
and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment. Customer-First Mindset: A proactive, service-oriented
approach with enthusiasm for promoting quality security solutions.
Other job duties as assigned. Licenses Required: N/A Education
requirement : High school diploma required; an associate or
bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is a plus.
Physical Activities/ Requirements Office-Desk Job Manual dexterity
and sitting are required in carrying out own responsibilities (i.e.
use of personal computers). Ability to efficiently operate all
job-related office equipment. Ability to communicate via telephone
and work in virtual teams. Ability to work in a dynamic
environment. Ability to work in a traditional professional office
setting Ability to lift to 5 -10lb The expected salary range for
this position is [$59K- $77K] in addition to monthly earned bonus.
