Job Description Job Description At WHOOP, we're on a mission to
unlock human performance. WHOOP empowers its members to perform at
a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and
daily lives. WHOOP Labs is the research and hardware validation arm
of WHOOP. Our work focuses on conducting human trials to validate
next-gen features and technology. As a Researcher I, you will join
the WHOOP Labs team to execute data collections for a range of
research studies for algorithm training and design testing. Your
efforts will support the organization as we continue to develop a
best in class experience and lead the wearables industry. This is a
W-2, Temporary role through the remainder of 2026, with an hourly
pay range of $28 - $32. Candidates must be prepared to work in
person at WHOOP Labs in Boston, MA 5 days each week.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Work collaboratively with other researchers to
execute testing protocols Provide coaching and guidance to
participants during exercise protocols, balancing data integrity,
research best practices, and participant experience Create a
supportive and welcome environment for participants engaging in a
range of research tasks, from exercises to device interactions
Manage the use and upkeep of data collection equipment and
prototype devices Report research progress regularly and highlight
data quality issues or other bugs to relevant technical teams Own
daily lab management tasks required for data collections to be
possible, such as laundry, equipment cleaning, and material
organization Serve as an ambassador for the WHOOP Labs and WHOOP
brand QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in human physiology,
biomedical engineering, exercise physiology, or similar Strong
technological background and working knowledge of data management
systems including the Google Suite Strong interpersonal
communication skills with a savvy for working as part of a highly
collaborative, fast-paced team Prior experience in customer service
or other public-facing roles a plus Strong attention to detail
